Happy Monday! I’m sharing self care Saturday and Sunday today so I could actually focus on the self care this weekend. I REALLY needed it after a rough week wrapped up with bad news (one of my cats needs surgery again). I walked in the sun, enjoyed the local wildlife, baked cookies, did yoga, meditated, virtually visited with friends, relaxed with my kitties, and cleaned the house. I hope you’re making time for self care too! 🤗🥰🌞
Usually the food I share for self care is all about delicious nutrition and eating your colors to nurture the body, but I also believe in food for the soul, which for me must have either chocolate or cheese. I love baking, and doing things you love is self care! For me, baking is fun to do, delicious to eat, and a joy to share. I think I’ve found my favorite cookie recipe now too!
