Happy Monday! It’s so good to be able to walk again! Getting exercise outside is my favorite way to do it so I can enjoy sunshine and nature too. Walking is good for you, and it helps me de-stress and slow my mind down too, especially when I turn it into a walking meditation. It’s an important part of my self care for sure! And it’s free! (Please invest in good, supportive shoes though, and don’t forget to spend some time stretching afterwards.) A little bit of walking goes a long way too. According to the Arthritis Foundation, walking benefits include: improve circulation, shore up your bones, enjoy a longer life, lighten your mood, lose weight, strengthen muscles, improve sleep, support your joints, slow mental decline, lower Alzheimer’s risk, and do more for longer. You can read more about these benefits here https://www.arthritis.org/…/walking/12-benefits-of-walking
